Safer:
Especially for school related fundraising, this fundraising program is much safer. There is no need for door to door sales which may put children at risk. Rather, sales are obtained for your organization through the Internet.

Convenient:
For the organization, there is no need to accept, sort and pack merchandise or keep track of whom turned in what order or what is going where. All orders are handled and processed over the Internet and shipped directly to the customer.

For the customer, he or she can order from the Internet when it is convenient. The order is also shipped directly to the customer rather than to the organization offering a further convenience.

Effective:
Unlike some other fundraisers, the customer order is processed shortly after it is placed. There is no need to wait until the end of the fundraiser to receive the ordered merchandise.

The organization also has the option to make this a "limited time" fundraiser or a "perpetual" fundraiser. Not only do you generate funds for your organization at the time of the initial sale, but your organization also receives a portion of the proceeds from any future or repeat sale any time in the future. This can possibly generate a continual source of funding for your organization or its activities.

How the fundraising program works:

#2: We will reply to your request with specific information regarding your fundraiser including literature and tools that can be used by members of your organization.

#3: Provide potential customers with our website ID and your reseller number.

#4: Potential customers visit the website and place an order referencing your reseller ID during the checkout process so proper credit can be given to your organization..

#5: Order is processed and shipped directly to customer.

#6: If this is a "limited time" fundraiser, once the fundraiser is over awards (if any) are provided and proceeds are given to the organization. (see the question and answer section below for more details).

#7: If this is a "perpetual" fundraiser, the initial proceeds are provided to the organization and future proceeds are provided on a timely basis (see the question and answer section below for more details).

You mention literature and tools. What exactly are these?

As part of the fundraiser, you will be provided with a general electronic letter that can be copied and distributed for all members of your organization. Another letter will be provided introducing potential customers to your fundraising efforts and explain how to place an order to help your organization. You will also be provided with sample text that you can use to email individuals about your fundraising efforts.

How much can we make with a fundraiser?

There are many factors that determine the amount you can make on one of our fundraisers. These include customer response, length of the fundraiser, and whether the fundraiser itself is "limited time" or "perpetual". Individual awards for sales may also affect the proceeds of a fundraiser.

In general, you can expect to make from 20 -- 25% of what the total amount of the product price. Shipping, applicable taxes and any applied discounts are not included when calculating the proceeds of a fundraiser.

How do discount coupons and gift certificates affect our fundraiser?

If a customer uses a discount coupon during a fundraiser purchase, your proceeds will be calculated based on the resulting selling price of the item(s) after the discount is applied.

If a customer purchases a gift certificate, you will receive credit for the purchase less any discounts that may be applied during the purchase.

How soon can we expect to receive proceeds from a fundraiser?

If the fundraiser is "limited time", you will receive the proceeds 60 days from the close date of the fundraiser. If the fundraiser is "perpetual", then you will receive proceeds within 90 days from the time the first order is placed then every other month after that. This will give your customers sufficient time to take advantage of the 30-day money back guarantee that we offer on all our products.

What is the difference between a "limited time" fundraiser and a "perpetual" fundraiser?

A "limited time" fundraiser begins on a certain date and ends on a certain date. Orders are obtained only during the timeframe of the fundraiser.

A "perpetual" fundraiser continues for any length of time. It is typical to have a "kickoff" period during which you concentrate on obtaining customers and directing them to the website. However, after the "kickoff" period, customers may continue to order for which you will continue to receive credit and proceeds for orders placed. Unless indicated otherwise, we will also continue to offer them special offers and incentives in the future to further your fundraising efforts.

If awards are to be given after the fundraiser, then you must request a "limited time" fundraiser.

How do awards work with the fundraiser program?

If awards are to be given for individual sales, each person will be assigned a reseller code to track their progress. Approximately 60 days after the end of the fundraiser, awards will then be presented. Awards are only available for the "limited time" fundraiser. No awards can be given for a "perpetual" fundraiser. If I have a "limited time" fundraiser and someone orders an item after the close of the fundraiser, will our organization get credit for it?

Yes, provided that the customer supplies your reseller code, you will receive credit for the order placed. However, if the fundraiser had awards given, no credit will be given to the seller after the close of the "limited time" fundraiser.

What if a customer forgets to enter the reseller code?

During the checkout process, you will notice a field marked "Reseller, Fundraiser or Home Party ID (if any)". This is where you will want to enter the reseller code.

If you forget to enter a reseller code, you can enter the information on the following form: http://creters.com/orderexit.html.

To make sure that everyone gets proper credit for orders placed, if we do not receive a reseller code by either of the two methods mentioned above, we email the customer to ask if they have a reseller code to provide.

Wouldn't it be easier if we just give you email addresses and you contact potentail customers with the information?

We have found that there is a greater response to fundraising efforts if the email comes from someone the individual may know. Email sent by us would seem less personal and would more likely be considered "spam" and disregarded or discarded.

What happens with email addresses you obtain as part of this fundraiser?

Please be assured that email addresses obtained as part of the fundraiser are not distributed or sold to anyone else. We may contact past customers on your behalf with promotional and special offers to generate repeat sales to help benefit your organization. If you prefer that we do not make repeat contact with customers, you can indicate that on the online form to request a fundraiser. Any email sent to customers will also give them the opportunity to "opt-out" of the mailings as well.

How soon can a customer expect their order?

Orders are processed within 48 hours after we receive them. Customers can expect to receive their order within 3 to 4 weeks after it is placed. All orders are shipped standard ground shipping via UPS. In unusual cases, we can ship by other methods, but an additional shipping charge will be incurred.

Do you charge sales tax?

Because of the way our system is set up, sales tax will be charged during the checkout process for orders shipping to Ohio addresses. Provided a copy of the tax exempt certificate is supplied to us by the organization, anyone charged sales tax during the checkout process will be reimbursed one of two ways:

        -- if the customer has a Paypal account, the sales tax will be refunded to their Paypal account.
        -- if the customer does not have a Paypal account, a credit in the amount of the taxes charged will be issued in
           the form of a discount coupon or gift certificate toward a future purchase.

No sales tax is charged for out of state purchases. However, most states now require that consumers keep track of their out of state purchases and are sometimes required to pay a "sales use" tax when filing their regular income tax returns. For that reason, we supply each customer with a year-end summary of their purchases for tax purposes. In most cases, purchases made through a non-profit organization are not subject to the "sales use" tax.  You may want to check with your particular state for specifics.

Other than copying and distributing any literature that we provide you, and telling family and friends how to help you with the fundraiser, there is nothing else you will need to do. Everything from order placement, to shipping, to possible returns as well as any questions or problems the customer may have is handled by us.
